Mary Atwater, Chief Design Officer,     , worked as a travel counselor, travel agency manager and corporate travel manager for over 25 years. evolved from her desire to joyfully recall travel adventures in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, Africa and the Caribbean.
Atwater began making jewelry in 1995. became an LLC in 2002. She has exhibited in juried fine craft shows and private events in the Northeast including the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She was commissioned to design the 2009 Boston Marathon medallion for the marathon headquarters hotel, The Fairmont Copley Plaza. Her work is sold in The Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel in the Fairmont Store. She has sold jewelry in the prestigious InsideOut exhibit of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. She was named a finalist in the 2006 NICHE Awards Competition and has exhibited at the Philadelphia Buyers Market for American Craft.
Her work has been featured in the 2009 and 2010 catalogues of studio art classes of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; The Boston Globe; and NICHE Magazine.
Atwater is a graduate of Dominican University of San Rafael, CA. She and her husband enjoy birding, hiking and playing with the family dog. They spend summers with family on a quiet inland lake in Maine.
