Mary Atwater, CDO (chief design officer),     , worked as a travel counselor, travel agency manager, and corporate travel manager for over 25 years. evolved from her desire to joyfully recall travel adventures in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America, and the Caribbean.
Atwater began designing and producing jewelry in 1995. She is a member of and exhibits with the Newburyport Art Association in Newburyport, Massachusetts. She was named a NICHE Awards finalist in 2006. Her work has been featured in The Boston Globe and NICHE Magazine. She has exhibited at the Philadelphia Buyers Market for American Craft, the Luxury Travel Show in Las Vegas, juried shows, and travel events in the Northeast.
Atwater lives in Massachusetts with her husband and enjoys flower arranging, birding, hiking, and playing with her dog. She and her husband spend summers with family on a quiet inland lake in Maine.
